\n Antique small 44 Star American Flag made in 1891 for the admission of Wyoming. This flag is original to the date of 1891. It came from a decommissioned museum lot. This flag is in very good condition with age related wear and it’s original stick. Printed on cotton gauze and set in an age related frame and under glass, the glass is very old. This flag is ready to display on any wall. The 44 Star American Flag became official United States Flag on July 4th 1891. A Star was added for the admission of Wyoming July 10th 1890 and was to last 5 years. The presidents to serve under the flag where Benjamin Harrison 1889- 1893 and Grover Cleveland 1893- 1897. Frame size 14.5”x 12.1\/4”. Flag size is 4.5”x 3.3\/4”. All measurements are approx. This flag is American made and a wonderful piece of American folk art history.
