A royal chair in Asante society It is a sign of power and prestige used exclusively by chiefs. The chair is made of a hand carved wood frame covered with hammered brass tacks and studs and leather seat.<\/p>\n

The chair looks beautiful as a sculptural piece in any room. <\/p>\n

The top leather seat is fractured but the supporting weaved leather underneath that provides the support it’s not. A cushion covers the seat and laces down the feet of the chair. <\/p>\n
