From the Rio Balsas region of Guerrero, Mexico – early 19th century. Of stunning tribal form with regionally unique extending horn handles and distinctive looped tripod legs. Featuring hand painted illustrative folk art with glyphs, florals and coyotes. The colours indicative of Ameyaltepec pottery and the indigenous Nahua that paint them. Structurally very heavy of thick regional clay, beautiful made.<\/span><\/p>\n
