Vintage Design
Ceiling lights from the Danish manufacturer Poulsen based on a design by architect Wilhelm Wohlert from the 70s.
A simple and reduced to the bare essentials ceiling light. Scandinavian minimalism. The lamp body consists only of the socket with the bulb and a glare ring or reflector ring, which sits on four simple struts. The characteristic anti-glare ring hides the filament of the bulb, preventing direct glare.
The struts of the ring have a special aesthetic. The flat shape, the protrusion at the top ring, the flush finish at the bottom. All small but special details. The upper part is the mounting plate for the ceiling. The luminaire is then placed and fixed from below.
