Vintage Chapman Cerused Burl-Wood Lidded Chest and Stand

Here is a beautiful piece made by Chapman in the later 20th c. There are two pieces here that can be used independently if you like. There is a lidded trunk/chest on the top that opens up and can be locked with a key (included). It sits on a matching base. I love the cerused treatment of the burled wood and the lovely geometric shape of the handles on each side! This is a great piece for a hallway, entryway, etc. It’s very clean so you can store items inside and display some treasures above.
