Offered is a pair of handcrafted sculpted and hammered jade Tibetan tea cups embellished with embossed sterling silver motifs and red coral cut stones inset. The jade is dark, yet semi-transparent and light passes through. Can be used as salt bowls, as trinket dishes for keys, or or for displaying on a console or coffee table.
They each measure approximately 4″ in diameter, 1.75″ in height, and have bases that are 1.325″ in diameter.

Condition:FairMinor losses. The cups were purchased from an antiquarian on a trip to Tibet in the 1990s. They are in their original “found” condition. Some of the sterling silver embellishments along the bottom of the bowl had already fallen off (see photos).
