Rare African Baga Stool/Table Guinea 15.5″ H by 21″ D

This old Baga Stool/Table from Guinea is a truly magnificent example of African craftsmanship. Hand-crafted ;from a single piece of dense, heavy wood, it is intricately decorated with kneeling females figures from the Baga tribe.This kneeling figure of rather naturalistic form represents an initiated woman) Despite minor wood loss due to its age, it is in overall good condition and stands 15.5″ high and 21″ in diameter. It would make an excellent addition to any collection.
