19th century Chinese Tibetan hand painted storage cupboard with original centre opening doors. A superb characterful piece in original lacquered paint with decorative floral tribal patterns. Hand carved detailing to the front.
A large deep cupboard with plenty of storage space. Cupboard consists of two storage areas to the bottom and top, with four central doors. Doors are on traditional wooden dowel and can be removed as required to have a cupboard below and open shelving to the top. All original, the cupboard has and warm worn tone with exposed traditional joins. The piece is very solid and in good sound condition, a good sturdy piece, made of solid wood and built to last.
Door opening width = 68cm / 26.5″
The piece is presented in its original lacquered finish with patina marks from 150+ years of use. The piece is clean and ready for installation.
