Vintage Design
Rare table lamp from Architectural Lighting according to a design by the well -known industrial designer Peter Nelson from the 1960s.
The design language and materiality of Nelson’s designs reflect its background in the aviation industry. Aluminum as a “signature material” and “engineering” precision and processing. His luminaire designs are characterized by puristic aesthetics that are inherent in functional and technical details. A special detail is the finely and thinly executed rod of the lamp made of full material on which the spotlight attacks. The massive cable routing on the shaft is also striking. The table clamp has several threads to absorb the shaft and can thus be used in two directions.
