French Carved Gilt Corner Console wall shelf. A beautifully carved gilt console shelf, it has a bow shaped front and a carved leg. This is a good-looking piece and the Gold has a good bright colour, worn a bit with some of the red oxide undercoating showing through. The shelf is in good attractive condition with wear to the gold most noticeable on the top of the shelf, it is 22” wide 18” from bottom to top and 16” along the side.
