Exquisite & rare! This French Art Nouveau floor lamp in patinated bronze displaying a Heron between Leaves & Lilly pads, dated early 1900. The Heron stands above a stream of water hidden between the leaves & flowers. Amazing Art Nouveau design. Hand painted bronze and metal with breathtaking colors and a amazing aged patina. Similar Heron floor lamps are displayed at the world famous ”Musée d’Orsay” in Paris France in their Art Nouveau room. These Art Nouveau lights are most rare & real collectables. Originally this worked on oil and was converted to electricity somewhere in its life during the 1930s-1940s. In this period the glass grapes shade was added to the piece and matches it perfectly in style & age.
