Beautiful and very decorative table lamp from Thailand with extremely detailed brass statue from Phra Aphai Mani from the 1970s. Playing a Khlui flute
Sitting and playing music on top of the representation of the several phases of the food chain or food energy transfer. Grass – deer – lion.
(“If the deer is removed from the food chain it’s got out of balance. The Lion can’t eat grass and because of that die. The land then will be overgrown with only grass.”)
The brass statue is extremely detailed casted and have beautiful patine. Because of cleaning true the years the gild has been lost on several places. Combined with the green brass it gives the statues their great old patine.
Technically the table lamp is in good condition and have one E28 screw fitting.
