There were several American companies that revolutionized the American wall sculpture decor industry in the Mid-Century as compression mold technology was perfected. Syroco, Burwood, Dart Industries and Homco were all at one time competitors and eventually became merged under various ownership. Once merged, they all shared and used each other’s molds. This piece set is marked both Homco and Dart Industries and is dated 1963. The wall sculpture is a Tree of Life in black with colorful fauna, flora and humans. It’s one of the most attractive pieces we’ve curated from the Syroco style items. These are part of Americana and highly sought after even today. less
