A beautifully framed 19th century copper engraved print of Queen Jane Seymour (1508-1537), the third wife of Henry VIII. Engraved by Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780) for ‘The Heads of Illustrious Persons of Great Britain’ by Thomas Birch (1705-1766). Published in London. The Frame is a high quality mid-later 20th century example with a gilt edge between the etching and the marbleized painted mat. The original print has very minor foxing on the left side.
