A 20th century occasional table from France, this brass table with marble top flaunts a gilded upright frame crowned with a mottled marble top. The anchor gray marble and its soft blue hues bring a light contrast to the lavish brass shine and its subtly oxidized brushed finish. The frame is completed with an h stretcher and a practical front drawer, adorned with an intricate rosette pull and molded ornamentation consisting of delicate rosebuds and acanthus leaves. Versatile and classy, this small antique is made of the very best.

Made of mahogany in a woodland-inspired chanterelle finish, the Verona Chanterelle Desk is warmly handsome with its metal detailing in a champagne finish. The stretchers on this brown desk bring it its flair. There are a number of pieces in the Verona family of furnishings in both black and brown finishes.

A charming, slightly whimsical contemporary writing or entry table in the English Regency style, with modern flair. Hhigh-quality reproduction piece rendered in black lacquered hardwood and gilt accents, all supporting a zebrawood top with solid brass banding to the edges. Smooth action to the fully lacquered drawers. The top grain is polished and truly stunning.

In overall very nice condition, but with a repair to the bottom section of one leg as shown. Some slight loss to the lacquer at the bottom edge of the drawers. Scattered losses to the gilt throughout. Despite all, it shows wonderfully given it’s unusual combination of attributes. A fun piece for a space with personality. Apparently unmarked.

This circa 1910 writing desk has a bow drop-front top with cabriole legs, five drawers and six cubby holes. The surface is gilded in a Florentine floral, collate and scrollwork motif with silver accents.

This desk is in good original condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is a grey area on the left corner of the writing surface. Please see photo.

Very cool hard to find MCM Heywood Wakefield school desk with metal frame with below seat storage. Top, seat and back are lovely maple wood veneer with patina. 22″ wide (at desktop) x 27 1/2″ deep (total) x 28 1/2″ high (at back). Seat is 17″ high, knee clearance is 8 1/2″. Some imperfections in finish, some wear on the metal frame (mostly on the bottom) consistent with age of item (1950’s).

This beautiful Traveling Writing Desk is made out of wood, and solid mahogany. The desk has a classic Traditional style and design, it was made in the late 1800’s, and it has a red brown mahogany stain finish color. The top of the desk pull up to open to a desktop with felt on top, and the felt pull up to open to a storage under the desk top. We not sure the stand belong to this piece originally, we believe the stand was made in the 40’s.

The measurements are: With Stand height=27.5″ width=18.75″ depth=11″ Desk only height=7.5″ width=18″ depth=10.25″ approx.

Impressive, large-scale , ebonized French bureau plat or writing desk with removable inlaid leather top. Features an ebonized mahogany veneer over solid oak frame and drawers. Two pull out side writing leaves, each with two brass pulls (one is close, but does not match the other three).

The writing surface features gold tooled blond leather, accentuated with a unique gold laurel banding to the side perimeter. Functioning drawers with locks. There is a newer cutout to the lower side of the left interior drawer frame, reason unknown. The whole on brass paw feet. An extremely heavy, solid, and imposing statement piece in the right room. Thoroughly cleaned, polished, and ready to place.

Overall in good antique condition with the expected nicks and scrapes commensurate with age and use. The top, likely replaced, shows heavy warping, and while it stays firmly in place using its dowel guides, the veneer has begun to bubble and crack in a handful of spots due to the stress. The decision has been made not to attempt veneer repair at this time, though it could certainly be done. Pressure from the top also stiffens the action of the side leaves, though they are functional. Wear to the ebonized finish throughout, commensurate with age and use.

Uncommon vintage mcm Lane Perception writing/executive walnut desk with four fully functional drawers. The desk is in very good vintage condition with great wood grain patterns. The pulls beautifully match the design and the pencil drawer has a grooved built in pencil holder for convenience. The tapered legs are indicative of the period and create balance with the drawers. Pencil drawer has walnut lattice work on the front that is the hallmark of the Lane Perception line. The top is made of durable “impervia” Lane’s version of formica. This mid sized desk is 46 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep and 29 inches tall will easily fit in most settings. Please see all pictures.
