Rustic English walnut bench, footstool, or ottoman crafted in the Tudor style. The walnut frame features peg joinery and bobbin or spool turned legs conjoined to turned stretchers. The legs have block joints ending with small bun feet. The stool is topped with a green leather cushion upholstery that has faded and aged into a light buckskin tone with a beautifully distressed patina. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an attractive profile and desirable age. The leather seating surface is bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
