Here is a beautiful piece made by Chapman in the later 20th c. There are two pieces here that can be used independently if you like. There is a lidded trunk/chest on the top that opens up and can be locked with a key (included). It sits on a matching base. I love the cerused treatment of the burled wood and the lovely geometric shape of the handles on each side! This is a great piece for a hallway, entryway, etc. It’s very clean so you can store items inside and display some treasures above.

This brilliant Trunk Chest is made of wood, and solid wood. This exquisite Chest has great Asian Oriental style, it has raised heavy carving details all around, and it has a medium to dark stain finish to the wood. This chest offers excellent opportunities for storage with a large compartment inside, and a sliding wooden tray inside the trunk letting you set some lighter clothes on top, and it could be used as a coffee table or a bench. Please note that there is no lock it was removed for safety reasons and there is no key.
