Direct from England, a very highly carved and elegant antique English hall table in a perfect size for anywhere from your foyer to sofa to bedside!
A striking silhouette, defined by large British turned legs, with carved cylinders over lower shaped and turned legs. Block joints and English “spool” turned stretchers complete the design.
Equally unique is the hand carved apron of scrolls and the date 1603AD, which probably had significance for the creator. Note the carving continues on all sides, making this an excellent table to ‘float’ in a room, as there is no backside.
Solid oak, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1900.
