Vintage Design
A very stylish pair of Dutch 1950s Mid Century Modern anthracite blue cylindrical ‘Hand Grenade’ pendant lights. Hung from their original two piece steel ceiling rose, the wire runs down to a bulb holder located inside the white metal cylinder where the shade is mounted on metal pins. The shades are made of two metal cylinders placed inside one another, both are pierced with slits and off set so that light omits, but the bulb cannot be seen, much like a Zoetrope.
An ideal spotlight for over a kitchen counter, table, or offset hanging in the corner of a room. We also have a matching pastel yellow pair in a separate listing, should you wish to mix and match.
In original paint, in good period condition, and fully rewired to UK 240v spec.
