Mid-20th Century Print of Paris Riverfront, Framed

Framed, color lithographic reproduction of watercolor of Paris riverfront scene, signed Herbelot and numbered 2/45. Franz Herbelot is the pseudonym of a Paris street artist active ca. 1940-60, about whom almost nothing is known. He or she sketched scenes, refined them with watercolor in the studio, and reproduced them as color lithographs.

Custom framed with conservation materials in 1 1/8″ wide x 3/4″ deep bronze metallic frame. Sight 9 3/4″ high x 11 7/8″ wide. Overall 18 1/2″ high x 20″ wide x 3/4″ deep.
