Vintage Mehrivan Carpet – 7’9″ X 9’6″

:: Stepped concentric center medallions in shield like form atop a covered field of outwardly directed blossoms and palmette finials. Colors and shades include: Dusty blush, sandalwood, sapphire blue, sky blue, chocolate brown antique ivory and more. Condition notes: Even, short pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight reduction to one end, a couple half dollar size repair with repile. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehrivan carpet made in Persia circa 1960’s vintage.
