Vintage Distressed Bakhtiari Carpet – 7′ X 9’7″

:: Center medallion with outwardly directed floral blossom cross sections adorned at both sides and ends by floral finials atop a covered field of intricate flowing scrolled arabesques. Corner spandrel overlays bear stepped contour and loose reciprocating contour to that of the medallion. Main border in a palmette design with meandering vine arabesque minor borders. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, platinum, copper, terracotta, pale coffee brown, dusty blush, burgundy wine red, dusty olive green, silver and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends.
